Town of Glastonbury Department of Human Resources announces the following position: P/T Cust. Service Rep. 19.5hrs/wk AM/PM $15.52/hr. Closing Date 02/15/2013. Position provides initial contact w/ residents and other customers in assisting w/ routine Town business and provides support to H R Dept. Interacts w/ public in person or by telephone & provides info about their service needs and issues, & provides service, info or referral. Provides descriptive info regarding Town programs & directs customers to Town program locations both within Town Hall & to other facilities in Town. Registers cust in a variety of Town programs; Records proper info for registration & coordinates w/ relevant dept. Collects fees & charges for a variety of Town programs & services, prepares and records proper receipts, documents the transactions & maintain records. Serves as secretarial liaison to the H R Comm., complies statistical reports to the Town's Affirmative Action Program & Quarterly Recruitment Status Report. Serves as admin support to the Ethics Commission. Provides admin support assistance for the H R employment process to inc. such things as: accepts app., prepares a variety of letters, answers questions regarding employment opportunities & assists in the preparation of Eligible Registers; Assists in preparing packets for the Oral Panel process and making reservations for appr test areas.
